Table for Ten is an incredible philanthropic event and for each event, a special charity is showcased. For this one, held in March, 2022, it benefitted the Pascal Culinary Scholarship Program. The funds raised at this event help culinary students make their dreams come true — attending coveted culinary programs at both Saddleback College and Orange Coast College.
This event was held on the lovely grounds of the Festival of the Arts in Laguna Beach. It began with an elegant mix-and-mingle cocktail reception. Key partners were showcased and it was a perfect start to the evening. Guests mingled and perused the fabulous silent auction items on the display tables.
Each Chef was busy behind the scenes as they had prepared an elegant, custom-designed table-scape, with their own signature theme, menu, fine cuisine and wine pairings. Chefs were so kind to donate their time, staff, cuisine and wines to this cause. Many guests purchased an entire table to host their beloved family and friends. Serving 10 guests each, it was an intimate Chef-driven dining experience. Live and silent auction items were featured and that made for an exciting evening of interaction and gathering of thousands of additional funds were raised. There were: trips, jewelry, baskets of wine, paintings, in-home chef dinners and so many wonderful prizes to be won.
I was honored to be at Pascal Olhats’ table and, of course, that meant fabulous French cuisine! I felt like I was back in Normandy. Magnifico! A seven-course dinner was before us and we followed along with the menu and lots of anticipation. Each course was exceptional.

Kudos to Kristin Martin and her entire team for organizing such an elaborate event. She is the Founder/Executive Director of KM Productions. As many know, there are so many moving parts with an event such as this and she executes it with such grace, expertise and all with a beautifully assured smile!
